The Sumedang Demo-Plots at Jatigede (2024) and Ujungjaya (2025) are conducting tests for the intercropping of Pongamia (Malapari) with sorghum varieties, specifically Bioguma at Jatigede and both Bioguma and Binex at Ujungjaya. The Jatigede plot is dedicated to evaluating the ‘height variety’ of Pongamia, while the Ujungjaya plot is focused on testing the ‘planting distance variety’ of Pongamia within these intercropping trials.
