Collaborative Innovation for Sustainable Energy Solutions
PoMa Hub (Pongamia–Malapari Development Hub) is an advanced nursery and research platform in Indonesia dedicated to the propagation of elite Pongamia seedlings to support the development of sustainable biofuel feedstock.
PoMa Hub serves as a platform for the propagation of elite Pongamia seedlings and the development of sustainable biofuel supply chains.
The project is carried out in collaboration with Santi Energi Hijau, Four Pride, and BRIN (Indonesia’s National Research and Innovation Agency).
PoMa Hub was established with support from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) of Japan under its Global South cooperation program, aiming to accelerate the development of sustainable energy supply chains in Indonesia and beyond.
PoMa Hub - An Elite Pongamia Platform
PoMa Hub is more than just a nursery — it also serves as our Pongamia Research Center, dedicated to advancing Indonesia’s elite Pongamia genetics.
Located in Cijeruk, Bogor, PoMa Hub continues to propagate, develop, and maximize the potential of Pongamia pinnata as a promising new source of biofuel and other sustainable applications.
Currently, SEH in collaboration with BRIN has identified around 62 selective clones with high oil content and strong productivity, ready for cross-breeding and further development.
